Exhibition Renderings
Renderings were executed using a combination of Vectorworks and Adobe Photoshop, with the graphics created in Adobe Illustrator. Further explanation of exhibition spaces can be found in the Cake Lab project book (PDF here).
Gallery Installation
The Cake Lab project was exhibited at the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design for the 2019 NEXT show. The idea behind the display of this project was to recreate a studio atmosphere where the designer would be working on the project, surrounded by some of the design inspiration, including maquette models of the main content areas. The whisk installation above the desk helps to contextualize the visitor into the larger exhibition. The yoga ball chair allows for visitors to look through the project book while feeling some of the joy & playfulness the exhibition is meant to inspire in visitors.
