Exploring the world is a great way for anyone to find inspiration; this is particularly true for designers and placemakers. It is important to understand the wider cultural context of the exhibitions we design and traveling is the best way to learn about the world around us. In regard to placemaking, cities in the United States can take a lot of pointers from many other countries' (often more successful) public spaces.
